For over 40 years, Attic Door Furniture has been dedicated to selling home furnishings on consignment. Located in the tranquil hamlet of Oyster Bay, this 3rd generation family owned-and-operated business has long since established their roots at 33 East Main Street, where longtime owners, Bruce, Jean, and their son, Mark Tiberio work diligently to maintain their reputation as a popular consignment shop on the North Shore.

First established in 1969 by Bruce's mother, also named Jean, Attic Door Furniture is known for their quality merchandise and ever-changing inventory of furniture and decorative items for the home. Beautiful pieces move quickly in and out of this busy shop. Each item that enters the store is hand selected by one of the members of the Tiberio Family. "We only bring in furniture that we know will sell...and after doing this for over 40 years, we really have an understanding of what our customers are looking for", Bruce states as he personally carries in a gently used, high end dining set to put in the front window. Pieces as beautiful as this won't last long, and loyal Attic Door customers know this. In fact, as Bruce and Mark set the dining room in place, several patrons are inquiring about its price and whether or not it could be delivered before the weekend.

The Attic Door is run as a consignment shop. Customers who are moving, re-decorating, downsizing, dealing with a loved one's estate, or those who just need to clear things out are those that sell with the store. When items sell, the split is 50/50 for each item. Most items that can be found in the home are sold at Attic Door. From large furniture sets to small decorative pieces, all can be bought or sold at Attic Door Furniture. In addition, those who sell with Attic Door Furniture are assured to deal only with a family member from the time of appraisal to the day of collection once the piece is sold. Free, in-home appraisals and free pick-ups are available.

Here, furniture is priced to sell and each day brings a new selection. A steady stream of customers move through the aisles of the Attic Door in search of the perfect find. Whether it's a new dining room set, a leather sofa, or a set of fine china that has just arrived, customers know that if they don't buy it before leaving the store, in all likelihood, it will be sold the next time they return. At the Attic Door you will also find bedroom sets, occasional tables, living room pieces, china, crystal, lamps, figurines, paintings, prints and so much more. In the spring and summer you will find outdoor patio furniture, concrete and terra cotta planters and a continuous supply of locally manufactured concrete statuary.
